Arc Raiders PvPvE Skill Tree: Best Frozen Trail Build

The Arc Raiders PvPvE skill tree is the all-rounder for standard raids, where ARC and other Raiders both want your loot.

It is the only 76-point build that affords two capstones: Security Breach and Sprinting on Fumes.

Here is every point, the reasons behind the trade-offs, and the 91-point version.

Table of Contents

The PvPvE Build at a Glance

BranchPointsGate pickCapstone
Conditioning31Mule’s GallopSecurity Breach
Mobility31Vault SpringSprinting on Fumes
Survival14Quick RollNone

The total is 76 points.

The build comes from our walkthrough, checked against the Arc Raiders wiki and Embark’s patch notes. Standard raids are the main mode today, with Solo, Duo and Trio queues.

Conditioning: 31 Points

This branch is identical to our PvE skill tree build.

  • Used to the Weight 1
  • Three Deep Breaths 5
  • Vigorous Vaulter 1
  • Stubborn Mule 2
  • Vault ‘N’ Carry 1
  • Mule’s Gallop (10-point gate)
  • Loaded Arms 1
  • Broad Shoulders 5
  • Downed But Determined 5
  • Crawl Before You Walk 5
  • Speedy Mule 3
  • Security Breach (capstone)

Security Breach is the capstone that pays you in loot. In our tests Weapon Bash did negligible damage and Bull Rush did none, so neither earns a slot.

Mobility: 31 Points

  • Youthful Lungs 1
  • Nimble Climber 5
  • Fight or Flight 5
  • Vault Spring (10-point gate)
  • Marathon Runner 5
  • Swift Start 5
  • Effortless Roll 5
  • Right Back At It 1
  • Off the Wall 2
  • Sprinting on Fumes (capstone)

This is the PvP Mobility branch with one fewer rank of Off the Wall. See our PvP skill tree build for the reasoning behind each pick.

We noted that Sprinting on Fumes leaves a long recovery, which an Adrenaline Shot skips.

Survival: 14 Points

  • In-Round Crafting 1
  • Looter’s Instinct 5
  • Sturdy Ankles 3
  • Silent Scavenger 1
  • Quick Roll (10-point gate)
  • Traveling Tinkerer 1
  • Looter’s Luck 2

Survival is the branch this build can trim. It keeps the skills that make each raid pay and drops the rest.

Conditioning, mobility, surival in PvPvE

Point Order: Start in Conditioning

We start the mixed PvP and PvE build in Conditioning, because Security Breach is the capstone we want first.

  • Conditioning first 10: Used to the Weight 1, Three Deep Breaths 5, Vigorous Vaulter 1, Stubborn Mule 2 and Vault ‘N’ Carry 1, then Mule’s Gallop.
  • Mobility first 10: Youthful Lungs 1, Nimble Climber 5 and Fight or Flight 4, then Vault Spring.
  • Survival first 10: In-Round Crafting 1, Looter’s Instinct 5, Sturdy Ankles 3 and Silent Scavenger 1, then Quick Roll.

PvPvE Point Order

Why Two Capstones Work Here

A capstone costs 30 points spent in the branch plus 1 more, so each capstone branch costs 31 points.

Two capstones in different branches cost 62, which leaves 14 points. This build puts all 14 into Survival.

Two capstones in the same branch cost 41 points and leave 35 for the other two branches. A third capstone elsewhere would then need 31 of those 35, so that route leaves almost nothing for carry or looting skills.

PvPvE Why Two Capstones Work Here

Our best skill tree build hub shows all three options side by side.

The 91-Point PvPvE Build

The wiki gives up to five bonus points per Expedition, and some guides cite 15 in total (see our Expedition 5 guide). We add:

  • Off the Wall +3 (to 5)
  • Slip and Slide 5
  • Sure-Footed Scrambler 1
  • Wall Run (second Mobility capstone)
  • Looter’s Luck +3
  • Speedy Mule +2

That is 15 points. The split becomes 33 Conditioning, 41 Mobility and 17 Survival.

Wall Run reached about twice the height of the radar in testing. We skipped In The Flow because it was glitchy before launch, and we could not confirm a fix.

The 91-Point PvPvE Build

How It Differs From the PvE and PvP Builds

All three 76-point builds share 63 points. The differences are small:

  • PvE (31 / 26 / 19) has one capstone and 5 more Survival points, and skips Sprinting on Fumes.
  • PvP (27 / 32 / 17) drops Security Breach and 4 Conditioning points, then adds 3 Survival and 1 Mobility.
  • PvPvE (31 / 31 / 14) keeps both capstones and trims Survival.

How PvPvE build Differs From the PvE and PvP Builds

If the October 13 to 20 PvE toggle test interests you (our PvE toggle guide has the rules), remember it has zero player-to-player damage and lower loot. Embark says it is not a promise of a permanent mode.

For gear that matches this build, read our best loadout guide. Newer players should start with our beginner guide, and our Frozen Trail skill tree article explains every gate. Key Takeaways

  • Split 31 Conditioning, 31 Mobility, 14 Survival.
  • Capstones: Security Breach and Sprinting on Fumes.
  • Two capstones in different branches cost 62 points.
  • The 91-point version reaches 33 / 41 / 17 and adds Wall Run.
  • The three builds share 63 points.

FAQ

What is the best PvPvE skill tree build in Arc Raiders?

The best PvPvE build is 31 Conditioning, 31 Mobility and 14 Survival.

It takes Security Breach and Sprinting on Fumes, so you can loot lockers and run from fights.

It is the safest choice for standard raids.

What does PvPvE mean in Arc Raiders?

PvPvE is the standard raid, where Raiders fight ARC and each other.

Matchmaking has Solo, Duo and Trio queues, and aggression is tracked separately for each squad size.

Solo vs. Squads was removed in Frozen Trail.

Can I afford two capstones with 76 points?

Yes, in different branches. Each capstone branch costs 31 points, so two cost 62 and leave 14.

This build spends those 14 on Survival.

Two capstones in the same branch cost 41, which leaves far less room for the other branches.

Why only 14 points in Survival?

Survival is the branch this build can afford to trim.

It keeps In-Round Crafting, Looter’s Instinct, Sturdy Ankles, Silent Scavenger, Quick Roll, Traveling Tinkerer and 2 ranks of Looter’s Luck.

The 91-point build adds 3 more Looter’s Luck.

How does the PvPvE build differ from the PvE and PvP builds?

It is the PvE Conditioning branch with Security Breach, joined to the PvP Mobility branch with Sprinting on Fumes.

The three builds share 63 of their 76 points.

Only Survival and a few Mobility ranks change.

What do I add with 15 Expedition points?

Off the Wall +3, Slip and Slide 5, Sure-Footed Scrambler 1, Wall Run, Looter’s Luck +3 and Speedy Mule +2.

That gives 33 Conditioning, 41 Mobility and 17 Survival.

Embark has not confirmed a 15-point total.

The wiki lists up to 5 points per completed Expedition, so check how many you have earned first.

Should I take Wall Run or In The Flow?

Take Wall Run. We skipped In The Flow because it was glitchy before launch, and we could not confirm a fix.

Wall Run reached about twice the height of the radar in testing.

Is Speedy Mule or Proficient Pryer better here?

Speedy Mule, as it fixes slow movement under load and gives up to a 40 percent bonus at max rank.

The 91-point build adds 2 more ranks.

Choose Proficient Pryer only if breaching speed matters more to you.

Will this build work in the October PvE test?

Yes, the Conditioning and looting skills still apply.

Embark’s test, from October 13 to 20, has zero player-to-player damage and lower loot.

The Sprinting on Fumes capstone is then useful only for ARC escapes.

Does Frozen Trail refund my points?

Some guides report a free refund at launch, but Embark’s patch notes do not mention it.

After that, the wiki lists 2,000 Coins per point, and the reset covers the whole tree.

Check the reset prompt before you spend.
